Brilliant Topaz Lebanon: 02 days, 01 night

Lebanon goes very well with Syria. A brilliant visit to Lebanon should be to Ba’albeck. In this itinerary you do also Anjar and the Phoenician coast (Byblos and Tripoli), so to make your visit brighter.

Day 01: Damascus / Ba’albeck / Anjar / Beirut Depart Damascus to the Lebanese border, to be met and assisted by the Lebanese guide. After doing the check in formalities, drive to Anjar to visit the Islamic Umayyad ruins. Continue driving to Ba’albeck to visit the propylaea, hexagonal forecourt, great court with two altars, the temple of the Roman God Jupiter and the temple of Bacchus. Driving to Beirut over the panoramic Lebanese mountain Arrive at Beirut hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Beirut / Byblos / Tripoli / Departure After a nice breakfast, we drive outside of Beirut to the north to visit Byblos (Biblical Gebal), we visit the massive city old wall 2800 BC, the temple of Obelisks, the sacred pound, temple of Baalat-Gebal, the royal tombs, the Roman colonnade, etc. Afterwards, we drive to Tripoli to visit the Crusade / Islamic castle. The city is so famous because of its tempting Bazaars. Transfer to the north SYR / LEB border, or to the airport for departure.
