Geography:

Located across the straits from Spain at the Extreme North-West of Africa, Morocco occupies a much estimated position.
It’s bounded by the Mediterranean on the North Coast, the Atlantic on the West Coast, by Algeria in the East & South East and by Mauritania in the South.
Geographically diverse, Morocco boasts beaches, wide plains, desert dunes and the highest mountain of North Africa which is J’bel Toubkal (4167m)

Climate:

The Mediterranean Climate on the coast is warmer and more moderate than the interior regions, where winters are colder and summers hotter. The high mountains can be cold even in summer and many are under snow for most of the year. The South is of course drier with crisp clear skies that seem to stretch forever.

Formalities:

Do not forget your passport and check its validity.
Passing trough our Agency, an identity card can be enough.
Certain nationalities require a visa.
The stay “Tourism” is limited to 3 months.
If your domestic animal accompanies you, just provide with his certificate of good health going back to less than 10 days , as well as anti-rabid certificate.

Customs:

You can temporarily bring to Morocco –without any formality- the majority of your businesses in quantities corresponding to a current tourist activity.

There are regulations on:

  • Alcohol (1 wine bottle and 1 alcohol bottle or 2 wine bottles by adult)

  • Tobacco (200 Cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250 g of tobacco per adult)

  • Weapons and the ammunition (50 cartridges per rifle) of hunting. The rifled guns are prohibited.

    Spoken Languages: Dialects according to areas, Berber, French and Spanish in North, most of Moroccans speak English as a third language.

    The National Railway Network is served by the ONCF (1 907 Km). The trains are rather comfortable and Air Conditioned & the Indications in Stations are of good Quality.

    Line2: Casablanca – Tangier
